How to make Banana Nut Bread


Cook time 55-60 minutes

Serving size 1 loaf

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 ½ cup mashed ripe bananas (3 or 4 medium sized)

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 2/3 cup all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, etc..)


  • Directions

    Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of loaf pan. Mix sugar and margarine. Stir in eggs, bananas, and water. Mix flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Mix together. Mix in nuts. Pour in loaf pan. Cook 55-60 minutes.
