How to make Chicken Piccata


If you want to make an amazing chicken piccata better than any restaurant this is it!

What you’ll need
  • 2 skinless and boneless chicken breasts. Butterflied then cut in half.

  • Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 5 tablesppons olive oil

  • 1/3 cup lemon juice

  • ½ cup chicken stock

  • ¼ cup capers


  • Directions

    Salt and pepper chicken. Coat chicken in flour, all sides.

    Melt butter with olive oil in skillet on high heat. When butter and oil begin to sizzle put in 2 pieces of chicken and cook for 3 minutes on each side until they are brown. Remove cooked chicken to another plate. Melt 2 more tablespoons of butter and another 2 tablespoons of olive oil and cook the other 2 pieces of chicken the same way. Remove pan from heat.

    In the pan add the lemon juice, chicken stock and capers. Put pan back on heat and bring to a boil. Put the chicken back in the pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove chicken. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to sauce and whisk. Pour sauce over chicken.
